My personal message:

I can assure you that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness both Tim and Liz Wellman endeavour to complete the London Marathon. Liz decided that the "year of the big figure change" was the right time to fulfill her personal goal of completing the event. I have stupidly agreed to run alongside. The reason why you should consider digging extra deep for this one (alongside the obvious fantastic Charity being the NSPCC) is fourfold:-

1)Lizzy hates running. 2) Neither of us can diet nor wish/want to stop drinking during the required training. Truth be known also both Lazy. 3) Tim's ankle is held together by all sorts of metalwork, pulleys, elasticbands and Blue Tac. 4) Lizzy really hates running.

We both understand that many of you are already extreamly generous and are frequently requested to donate to such causes. We can only offer the many hours of training, blood, sweat and tears as some payment towards your kind donations. I have previously run for the NSPCCC and can pass on first hand how humbled I have personally been by all the amazing work that the charity completes. For all Goldman employees your contributions can also be matched by the Employee contribution scheme! Btw, The current aim is for 4hrs 30mins!

Many Thanks,

Tim & Lizzy Wellman.
