Dear Friend

So I am at it again...cycling twice this year for Computer Aid International.   I am doing a 3 day 300km  London to Paris cycle ride on 7th -10th of May.  But the really tough ride will be a taxing and tough 10 day ride in Nepal on the 30th October and lasting until November 8th covering some long distances and really tough terrain.

Why do I keep doing this....you'd think I would of had enough by these tough cycle rides by now wouldn't you!

Well 2010 has only just started and already charitable resources are being called on.    Haiti is an example of what the international community can do collectively.    It's also an example of how charitable endeavours can also also push boundaries.    The way the web based technology has been put together to support Haiti, and more importantly in such a  such short of time, is pioneering.

So why Computer Aid International?  Well it is a progressive and pioneering charity in its own way.  Trying really hard to deliver computing resources that are sustainable.   The latest plans are for computer laboratories in the style of self contained 'container style pods' that utilise solar power panels and are supported by learning programmes.   Tackling issues of access using computing capability to scare resources such as doctors, sophisticated instruments, and further education will enable higher standards of living and create value for remote and isolated communities here and abroad.  I am also sure that some of the new ideas being trailed will make their way into the commercial world at some stage.

I would be very pleased if I could call on your support again to sponsor me on these 2 rides, I know it is a big ask.

Once you donate, Justgiving send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thanks again for taking the time to come to this site and to help me to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.

Thanks again Christine
